While all of the preseason hype for the Kansas Jayhawks went to Andrew Wiggins, it has been freshman Joel Embiid who has been turning heads recently. The 7-footer has shown some incredible potential as of late, and was a dominating force today against Georgetown, both offensively and defensively. He made a number of spectacular defensive plays, but it was a fantastic put-back slam that put an exclamation point on the big win:
There is no doubt about who was the best player in this game — Embiid finished with 17 points (on four shots!) and eight rebounds.
