The 2014 Scripps National Spelling Bee was last week, the annual reminder that the English language can be ridiculous at times. The people at Mashable decided to take the two winners from the competition — Sriram Hathwar and Ansun Sujoe — and put them in another Spelling Bee. However, there was a twist: all of the words came from the website Urban Dictionary.
These words were almost certainly easier than spelling some of the words during the actual competition, as evidenced by the fact that Hathwar and Sujoe went through all of them pretty easily. It especially impressive because some of these words are ridiculous, like “googleheimer” and “procrastineating.”
