As part of ESPN’s “crossover” night, Dick Vitale and Bill Walton will bring their unique styles to tonight’s Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Indiana Pacers game.
Each season, ESPN swaps some of its college and NBA commentators for a night to give the fans some interesting new squads to listen to. While having Dick Vitale on NBA and Jeff Van Gundy on college hoops is usually fun, ESPN kicked it up to a new level for tonight’s games.
Not only will Vitale be joining Dave Pasch on tonight’s primetime Cavs vs. Pacers game, but he’s bringing along the ever-entertaining Bill Walton whose trippy irreverence is a form of entertainment all its own.
Fan on Twitter are already pretty pumped and/or terrified for what could be the most ridiculous broadcast in recent memory.
This is actually not the first game that the unique combo has called. As ESPN notes, the three were on the call for the first ever high school game on the network, featuring LeBron James’ St. Vincent-St. Mary’s team. James, of course, will be on the court again tonight for the Cavaliers.

5. Jemele Hill
Hill, who attended Michigan State, is not shy about her love for the Spartans (and hate for the Wolverines). Hill, who formerly hosted His & Hers and now can be seen on The 6, famously picked the Spartans to win last year’s NCAA Tournament. They lost in the first round.
