LeBron James, who most people believe is easily the NBA’s best player, wasn’t always clutch with the ball in his hands down the stretch. Wednesday night served as yet another reminder to how far he’s come.
James hit a fadeaway 3-pointer with .1 seconds to play to give the Miami Heat a 111-110 victory over the Golden State Warriors. James, who was being guarded by Andre Iguodala, was never double-teamed as the clock wound down. According to ESPN, it was the first buzzer-beating 3-pointer that James has ever hit in a regular season game.
James finished with 36 points, while Warriors guard Stephen Curry finished with 29 points. Miami has a nice five-day breather before continuing its road trip next Tuesday at Dallas.
