Will LeBron be joining the Lakers?
LeBron-to-L.A. has been a popular theory among NBA people for a couple of months now, at least. He’s going to be a free agent next summer and leaving the Cavs for the Lakers is an often seen prediction.
NBA fanatic Bill Simmons is perhaps the biggest pusher of this idea. He wrote an entire column on it.
A tweet this evening from James has people furthering their theories. Especially Simmons.
Simmons had theorized that the Lakers signed Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to a big one-year deal because he’s a client of James’ agency, Klutch Sports.
Good litmus test for LeBron going to Lakers in a year – if LA throws KCP a lifeboat 1 year 20-22m deal so Klutch can save face with KCP.

They did, signing him to a one-year deal worth $18 million.
James is definitely happy.
He tweeted this tonight.

Does this mean James is L.A. bound?
Of course not.
But it’s not going to stop the speculation.
