The Lakers’ rookie had his best performance of the summer.
Lonzo Ball might not be wearing his Big Baller Brand ZO2s again after what happened tonight.
The Los Angeles Lakers’ rookie, wearing Kobe ADs instead of his signature shoe, had his best game of the NBA summer league.
Ball, the No. 2 overall pick in the NBA Draft, totaled 36 points (on 12 of 22 shooting), 11 assists and eight rebounds in Los Angeles’ win over Philadelphia. He had a three-point play in the last minute that gave the Lakers the lead. The Sixers responded with a bucket before Los Angeles had two free throws that gave them the win.
