Facebook reality show Ball in the Family starring LaVar Ball and his sons Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo, posted a photo of a college aged LaVar that is making the rounds today.
LaVar Ball has claimed that he can beat Michael Jordan one-on-one, something that seems highly unlikely given the fact that he spent one year as a reserve player at Washington State, where he averaged 2.2 points per game, before transferring to Cal State Los Angeles. He later had a brief career in professional football, including practice squad stints with the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers.
So Ball was probably a pretty good athlete if not quite a Jordan-level one. Either way, we now have evidence that the most famous dad in sports was at least in quite good shape during his college days.
The Ball in the Family Facebook page posted a photo of college age-LaVar and it has been going pretty viral since.
It is honestly surprising that it took this long for LaVar to have this photo circulated. He’ll probably have Big Baller Brand shirts put up for eight-month out preorders any minute.
