Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball is sitting out tonight’s summer league championship game.
The Lakers announced that Ball will miss the NBA Summer League championship against the Portland Trail Blazers tonight due to a strained right calf.
Ball suffered the strain, which the Lakers are calling “mild,” in the third quarter of last night’s win over the Dallas Mavericks.
He was in the middle of having a strong game, scoring 16 points and dishing out 10 assists.
