He wanted no part of that confrontation.
Lonzo Ball’s adjustment to the NBA hasn’t gone as planned for the Los Angeles Lakers rookie.
The former No. 2 overall pick is on pace for one of the worst seasons for an NBA player in terms of shooting percentage at just over 30-percent made.
On Friday night his Lakers took on the Phoenix Suns and the young rookie was in hot water once again. However this time it wasn’t about his poor shooting.
An altercation broke out between the two teams and Lonzo Ball wanted no part of it.

You can see Lonzo on the left side of the video walking away from the skirmish, a move that was heavily criticized as the rookie not standing up for his teammates.
Would this be a news story if this was anyone other than Lonzo? Probably not. However, the former UCLA star’s every move will be critiqued with a fine-toothed comb.
