There’s traveling in the NBA, and then there’s what Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook did last night.
In the third quarter of the Thunder’s 121-100 loss to the Golden State Warriors, Westbrook took an inbounds pass after a made basket…and just casually began strolling up the court.
No, seriously, here’s the video proof.
It’s like Russ thought he was playing pickup and wanted to check ball on the other side of half-court. Kevin Durant and some of the other Warrior players realized what happened right away.
This was one of Westbrook’s 10 turnovers, which gave him an unconventional quadruple-double: 27 points, 15 rebounds, 13 assists and double-digit giveaways. For the Dubs, Durant led the way with 40, while Steph Curry added 24.
