76ers rookie center Jahlil Okafor doesn’t feel like playing defense tonight against the Miami Heat, apparently.
The Philadelphia 76ers are taking on the Miami Heat tonight, in a game that no one cares about, and fittingly has been virtually unwatchable since the tip-off. With Joel Embiid out for the rest of the season, there’s little incentive to watch the Sixers flail to another loss.
So, as we probably lull our way to another Golden State versus Cleveland NBA Finals matchup, Jahlil Okafor, who has been the subject of many trade rumors, appears to be experiencing the same level of apathy for the regular season as the rest of us, because on one particular play this evening, he spent his time just kind of milling around the post, hoping that everyone would miss so he could grab the rebound.
It’s not exactly a case-study in good effort. This is really bad.

Not great. But in the end, who cares? It’s the 76ers and lowlights (besides Embiid) are practically the reason they exist as an NBA franchise.
The 76ers currently trail the Heat 77-60 with five minutes to go in the third quarter. Okafor has six points, two assists and (somehow) seven rebounds.
