Here’s who the college basketball analyst would take No. 1 overall.
The NBA Draft Lottery is tonight. In less than an hour, we’ll find out which team will get the No. 1 overall pick and how the rest of the picks, No. 2 to No. 14, will play out.
Who’s going to be the player taken with the top pick?
That’ll probably depend on how the lottery shakes out.
ESPN’s Jay Bilas knows who he’d take at No. 1, though: Markelle Fultz.
Bilas has the former star Washington guard sitting atop his big board heading into next month’s draft.
“Markelle fits the suit,” Bilas told Complex. “He’s got an NBA body. Long arms. Got good size. Markelle is a multidimensional scorer. He can really shoot it. He’s got all the tools to be a really good shooter in the league.”
The NBA Draft Lottery is set to be televised on ESPN at 8:30 p.m. E.T.
