Florida running back Mark Thompson thinks his Gators are in good shape against Michigan.
The Florida vs. Michigan matchup this September is expected to be one of the most competitive games of college football’s opening weekend – in fact, the spread is just three points in the Wolverines’ favor in most sports books. But one Florida player is hearing differently.
Mark Thompson, Florida’s running back, apparently thinks that the Gators are being disrespected ahead of the contest.
He took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to proclaim that Florida is going “beat the brakes” off of Michigan.
Check it out:
The disrespect is crazy… I can't wait till we beat the brakes off Michigan 😤

It’s unclear what comment or article led to Thompson’s statement, but you can be sure that Jim Harbaugh & Co. are going to be using it for their own locker room material.
Thompson, a redshirt junior, rushed for 299 yards and two touchdowns last season.
