Keith Hernandez Appeared To Make A San Francisco/Gay Joke During FOX’s Broadcast

The former MLB star is catching some heat for this one.

Former MLB star and current FOX analyst Keith Hernandez is catching some heat for an apparent gay joke made during the World Series pregame show this evening.

David Ortiz jokingly attempted to lick the former New York Mets’ star in Yasiel Puig-fashion and Hernandez responded.

“We’re not in San Francisco, bro!” he appeared to say with a laugh.

Here’s the video:

Hernandez, 64, also serves as an analyst for the New York Mets’ broadcasts during the regular season.

He was born in San Francisco and was raised just outside the city.

The former first baseman was a five-time All-Star and a two-time World Series champion. He’s one of the best defensive first basemen of all-time, winning 11 Gold Gloves.

FOX’s Game 7 is set to begin shortly after 8 p.m. E.T.
