He’s been told not to say anything until he returns home.
LaVar Ball has been told to do something he’s had a problem doing in the past – stay quiet.
ESPN’s Arash Markazi reports that the patriarch of the Big Baller Brand family has been told to not comment any further on his middle son’s arrest in China.
LiAngelo Ball and two other UCLA freshman were arrested for allegedly shoplifting from a Louis Vuitton store while in China for a season-opening game against Georgia Tech.
LaVar Ball had told reporters that it wasn’t a “big deal” and reportedly, that comment did not go over well in China. So, he’s been told to stay quiet.
I was told by several people that LaVar Ball’s “Everyone's making it a big deal. It ain't that big a deal” quote did not go over well, not surprisingly. He has been told not to comment on the matter at all until LiAngelo Ball returns home.
