The top recruit has reportedly left Western Kentucky.
Mitchell Robinson’s decision to attend Western Kentucky always seemed pretty weird. Robinson, a five-star 2017 recruit, is the No. 1 center in the class. Those kind of players, no matter the personal connection, don’t play for WKU.
So, when it was reported earlier this week that Robinson had cleared out his dorm and left WKU’s campus, no one was really surprised.
Where is he going to go?
One recruiting expert will be surprised if he doesn’t end up at LSU.

Robinson, a 7-foot big man, would need to be granted a waiver from the NCAA to play somewhere else during the 2017-18 season.
ESPN reports that the potential first-round pick is willing to sit out the 2017-18 season and play elsewhere the following year.
