Here’s how Isaiah Thomas reportedly feels about LeBron James.
New details have emerged regarding the relationship between LeBron James and Isaiah Thomas. They’re not likely to surprise anyone.
Thomas was traded by Cleveland to Los Angeles at the NBA’s trade deadline last week. He was shipped out in return for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. Cleveland also sent Channing Frye and a 2018 first-round pick to L.A.
Los Angeles made the move to free up cap space for this summer. Cleveland made the move for two reasons: 1. Get younger and more athletic 2. Get Isaiah Thomas the hell out of that locker room.
The second reason might seem a little strong, but it’s almost certainly true. The Isaiah Thomas era in Cleveland was a disaster.
Thomas consistently called out the effort of his teammates and coaches while speaking to the media. On the court, he was a poor fit next to LeBron and some of the other Cavs.
Fox Sports 1’s Chris Broussard is now reporting what the relationship between LeBron and Isaiah was like. It’s not surprising.
“I was talking to somebody yesterday close to Isaiah, and they said, ‘Isaiah Thomas has absolutely no love at all for LeBron… He felt like LeBron talked down to him when he was there,” Broussard reports.

James wished Thomas well following the trade deadline, while IT is mostly refusing to discuss his time in Cleveland. He says he wants to move forward.
The Cavs surely seem to be in better shape now. Hopefully the same will be true of Isaiah moving forward.
