The former Kentucky star is rising ahead of the UCLA star.
De’Aaron Fox dominated Lonzo Ball in the NCAA Tournament, leading Kentucky to a Sweet 16 victory over UCLA.
Ball has been thought of as the better NBA prospect, but that might be changing.
According to ESPN’s Chad Ford, the former Wildcats’ star is rising ahead of the former Bruins’ point guard on teams’ draft boards.
“There also seems to be a growing movement among teams to rank Kentucky’s Fox ahead of Ball,” Ford said, per Bleacher Report. “No one helped himself more in March than Fox did. He has a chance to go as high as No. 2 or No. 3 in this draft.”
The NBA Draft is set to take place in late June. The lottery for the draft, which will significantly affect where some of these players go, will take place on Tuesday night.
