Goodell apparently admitted to using Twitter handle @forargument – 14 times – to defend her husband. Here’s what she had to say:
“It was a REALLY silly thing to do and done out of frustration — and love. As a former media member, I’m always bothered when the coverage doesn’t provide a complete and accurate picture of a story. I’m also a wife and a mom. I have always passionately defended the hard-working guy I love — and I always will. I just may not use Twitter to do so in the future!”
According to publication, Goodell went back-and-forth with a number of publications – like ESPN and NBC Sports – about facts. Some of the responses to her still exist on Twitter.
@forargument I always strive for on the record sources but reporting on a powerful institution like NFL means only some speak anonymously

No, Goodell won’t get in any trouble for doing this, but it’s a bit odd. Either way, she’s deleted the account.
