Bob Stoops found his former players – including Baker Mayfield – after the win.
Saturday night, Oklahoma got payback on Ohio State in a big way – racking up almost 500 yards of offense in a 31-16 victory that shook up the College Football Playoff race. It’s only fitting that the man who built up the Oklahoma program – Bob Stoops – was on-hand to see it live.
After the contest, Stoops, who retired this past summer unexpectedly, found his players on the way to the locker room to congratulate them.
Of course, one of the first he embraced was quarterback Baker Mayfield.
