Jason Terry’s stellar four-year basketball career at Arizona ended in 1999. He left Tucson to embark on a lengthy (and ongoing) NBA career, but without his bachelor’s degree.
That’s changed, however. Terry continued to pursue his undergraduate coursework, even after leaving campus, and officially graduated last year.
Today, he was rewarded with his diploma in General Studies.

Kudos to Terry for sticking with it and earning his degree. Plenty of NBA players before him have done the same, and let’s hope others continue to do so.
