We’re down to the final few weeks of the college football regular season, which means programs are starting to go all-in on promoting their players for many of the individual awards handed out in December. Arizona’s new campaign for running back Ka’Deem Carey is a great example. The Wildcats are pushing Carey – who checks in at fifth on the list of college football’s top running backs based on rushing yards – for an All-American selection. They’re doing so by comparing to him Captain America.

Sure, it’s a little corny, but it’s a smart idea for the school to point out how consistent Carey has been, even if the team’s results haven’t been quite the same. We’ll soon find out if the move works in Carey’s favor.
