Unfortunately his career is over.
Cal offensive lineman Daniel Juarez announced his retirement from football today.
Juarez, who signed with the Bears in the 2016 and greyshirted last season due to a back issue, said in a statement on Twitter that he is retiring “due to surgeries and multiple lower body injuries.”

Juarez was a three-star recruit and the 58th-ranked offensive tackle in the 2016 class, per 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
We wish him the best as he transitions away from football. Thankfully, he gets to keep his scholarship to an outstanding academic institution.
