Last weekend, UCLA wide receiver Nick Pasquale passed away after being struck by a vehicle in San Clemente. It was a heartbreaking tragedy, and fans across the country have been reaching out to UCLA to show support.
In today’s game in Lincoln, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are wearing decals on their helmets to honor Pasquale, and the students released blue and gold balloons as a tribute. UCLA is wearing jersey patches, but the most powerful tribute to Nick took place in the Bruins locker room:

The Bruins will dress Pasquale’s locker for every game this season — I can’t even imagine how emotional his teammates were when they saw it today for the first time. This is a really nice move by the UCLA staff — I’m sure it means a lot to the Pasquale family.
