The hot seat under USC coach Lane Kiffin is just about on fire at this point. After a lackluster 7-6 campaign last season, it was widely assumed that Kiffin would need to resurrect the Trojans in 2013 to stay employed in LA. Two weeks in – things have already gone awry. The Trojans played an abysmal offensive game this past Saturday, losing to Washington State, 10-7. To make matters worse, recruits are starting to criticize Kiffin’s character.
Four-star running back recruit Demario Richard, of Palmdale, California, took to Twitter this afternoon to give a conditional statement on whether he’d ever sign on to play for the Trojans.
Richard elaborated a bit, when prompted:
Richard also claims he turned down Kiffin’s offer to attend USC because of something that happened at USC Junior Day back in February.
Surely, more will come out about what exactly occurred back in February. We’ll keep you updated.
