USC interim head coach Ed Orgeron is making a fairly solid case for the Trojans brass to remove the “interim” portion from his title. USC has gone 4-1 since Orgeron took over for Lane Kiffin, changed the locker room atmosphere, and now, he’s befriended the famous USC marching band – The Spirit Of Troy. Coach O sent hand-written letters to every member of the band ahead of this Saturday’s game against No. 4 Stanford.

Despite the impressive record that Orgeron’s Trojans have posted since Kiffin’s departure, they’ve still been flying below the radar nationally. A win over Stanford would change that very quickly.
