Yesterday, the mood around the USC football team was described as “like a funeral” after news broke that Ed Orgeron was resigning following the hiring of Steve Sarkisian as the new head football coach. Orgeron established great relationships with his players and many wished that would be USC’s next head man.
One of those players, offensive lineman Kevin Graf, took to Twitter today to thank Coach Orgeron and wish him luck moving forward. However, he also wanted to congratulate Sarkisian on his job (it’s not Sarkisian’s fault that USC didn’t hire Orgeron, after all) and express that he expects him to be a great fit:
Thank you for everything and Fight On Forever! pic.twitter.com/3QAnHds5dQ

Pretty classy — what a nice move by Graf.
