Alabama is the dominant program in college football, and that success is translating directly to the NFL. The Crimson Tide has twice as many Pro Bowlers as any other school.
On Tuesday night, the NFL announced the 86 players selected to this year’s Pro Bowl game. Those 86 represent 52 different NCAA schools, with 22 programs being represented by two or more players. The full list of schools features a few interesting names, including Central Missouri, Harvard, and both North and West Alabama. Most probably wouldn’t guess Kansas and Utah State as programs with multiple Pro Bowl player either.
However, ultimately the biggest programs are still the best represented at the top of the sport, and no program is better right now than Alabama. The Pro Bowl rosters further prove that. Alabama has twice as many players in this year’s game as any other college football program.
