In sports, it’s common for fans to poke fun at their rival for losing a big game. But according to Alabama fans, that appears to be the case even if we’re talking about Auburn, who lost to Florida State in the BCS National Championship Game after defeating the Crimson Tide in the Iron Bowl to even have the opportunity. That’s right – during Saturday’s basketball game between the two schools, Alabama students mocked Auburn by doing the “tomahawk chop”, FSU’s famous rally cry, as the Tigers shot free throws.
Took a second to process it, but yes, Alabama’s student section did the tomahawk chop while Auburn shot free throws.

Alabama fans doing the Tomahawk Chop…do we really want to talk about football?

I suppose Tide fans could argue that in BCS title games, Alabama went 3-0, while Auburn finished just 1-1 during the era. Regardless, you never take anything for granted in this rivalry.
