In a video shared by ESPN writer Chris Low, Darryl Strawberry talks to Alabama football players, conveying a meaningful message based on his personal experiences.
In the video, Darryl Strawberry talks to Alabama about his own personal demons. Strawberry, a 17-year MLB veteran and eight-time All-Star, won four World Series rings with the New York Mets and New York Yankees. However, he also battled serious substance abuse issues and was arrested multiple times.
Fortunately, Strawberry, an ordained Christian minister, has turned his life around.
Low was in attendance last night and posted a short video clip of Strawberry speaking to the Crimson Tide.

Kudos to Strawberry for opening up and sharing his knowledge with the young ‘Bama players. Surely he shared a lot of good advice they can put into practice.
