Alabama’s football program has dismissed offensive lineman Charles Baldwin, Nick Saban announced this afternoon.
Baldwin, a 6-foot-5, 297-pound offensive tackle, was a four-star JUCO recruit in the Crimson Tide’s 2016 class. He was an early-enrollee and was expected to compete for a starting position on Alabama’s offensive line.
Saban says Baldwin was dismissed because of a “violation of team rules.”

Saban on Charles Baldwin: “Good athlete. Has a long way to go. Need to get him to buy into what he do here.”
