ESPN put out its first edition of the ESPN300 recruiting rankings for the football class of 2018 today. Here’s where each of Arkansas’ ESPN300 2018 commits ranks.
ESPN, which is one of the four major recruiting services, published its most notable recruiting list for the class of 2018 for the first time today. Here is how the rankings shook out for each of the each of the ranked players joining the Arkansas Razorbacks next year. Three of Arkansas’ four players made the ESPN300:
Four-star CB Byron Hanspard (DeSoto, TX)
Rank: No. 93
— Byron Hanspard II (@bjhanspard94) April 10, 2017
Four-star TE Luke Ford (Carterville, IL)
Rank: No. 104
Four-star QB Connor Noland (Greenwood, AR)
Rank: No. 232
Arkansas has been looking to breaking through to the top of the SEC for a few years, but have struggled to take a step up to another tier, despite being pretty competitive with some of the league’s top teams. There is a definitely talent gap between the Hogs and, say, Alabama, but this class is shaping up to be a strong one for Bret Bielema.
Arkansas currently has the No. 6 class in the SEC and No. 26 class in the nation, per 247Sports.
