Four-star quarterback Grant Gunnell has serious Arkansas roots, and with Chad Morris in Fayetteville, the Hogs could get back involved with the Texas A&M commit.
Gunnell, a class of 2019 gunslinger, committed to Texas A&M back in June, but Arkansas is definitely the school to which he has the most connections.
Both of his parents are Arkansas alumni, and his grandfather Jim Price played linebacker for the 1964 national champion Razorbacks.
With the coaching changes at both Texas A&M, which hired Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher, and Arkansas, which has SMU head coach Chad Morris at the helm, Gunnell will re-evaluate things according to WholeHogSports.
Sources indicate highly regarded junior quarterback Grant Gunnell, who’s committed to Texas A&M, will re-evaluate the Arkansas program in the off-season because of the expected hiring of Coach Chad Morris.
Morris has serious connections in the Texas high school ranks, and offered Gunnell, a Houston-native, back on February 27 when he was on an unofficial visit to SMU.
Gunnell is the No. 37 recruit in the class of 2019, and the No. 2 pro-style quarterback, per 247Sports.
