Former Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl was hired by the Auburn Tigers this offseason to inject some life into a basketball program that hasn’t reached the NCAA Tournament since 2003. While we’re still over six months away from Pear’s product taking the floor for the first time, we’re already seeing fans get pumped for next season.
According to Pearl, the school is on pace to break the season ticket record for Auburn Arena. Justin Hokanson of Rivals tweeted a photo of an email Pearl sent Tigers faithful.

Pearl took the Volunteers to six straight NCAA tournaments before his dismissal, so he knows how to build a winner in the SEC. Tigers fans are hoping that’s sooner rather than later.
