The college football invasion of Brazil during the 2014 World Cup continues. Last week, USMNT fans brought the famous Washington State flag into the stadium for USA vs. Ghana. Today, cameras spotted an Auburn flag in a large section of Mexican fans during their game against Croatia.

This flag certainly adds to the SEC-like performance that CONCACAF’s representatives are having at this year’s World Cup. Unlike Auburn, Mexico didn’t need to result on a final-second miracle play to get by Croatia and advance to the round of 16. Three goals in quick succession between the 72nd and 82nd minutes propelled Mexico to a comfortable 3-1 lead.
