Ever since former Auburn tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen passed away in a car accident a few weeks ago, the Auburn community has come together and found unique ways to honor him. The latest Tigers to find new ways to honor “Lutz” are head coach Gus Malzahn and senior offensive lineman Reese Dismukes, who paid tribute by wearing pins with Lutzenkirchen’s No. 43 on them to Monday’s SEC Media Days.

Malzahn coached Lutzenkirchen from 2009-11, when he was the Tigers’ offensive coordinator, while Dismukes and Lutzenkirchen were teammates in 2011 and 2012.
