You can tell the Iron Bowl is almost here.
We are less than two weeks away from the annual Alabama-Auburn Iron Bowl showdown, and there should be a lot at stake this year.
Alabama should be 11-0 entering the game, while Auburn will be 9-2 and looking to maintain their SEC title and College Football Playoff hopes. No doubt about it, this should be a great game.
In the state of Alabama, what side of the rivalry you fall on is almost literally life and death. It is such a big deal, that United States Attorney General Jeff Sessions was asked today about which team he roots for while testifying in front of the House Judiciary Committee.
Sessions answered the question with a firm “War Eagle,” which will rankle some Alabama fans considering the 70-year-old politician got his law school degree in Tuscaloosa.

Whether you say “War Eagle” or “Roll Tide,” one thing is for sure.
This is more than just a game.
