Every once in a while, the actions of unruly fans on Twitter can get to a college football recruit. Florida commit Adonis Thomas, a four-star linebacker out of Lawrenceville, Georgia, apparently felt the need to respond to naysaying Bulldogs fans who claimed that their program didn’t actually want his services. Thomas, who committed to UF over Alabama just this past Friday, decided to post his offer letter from UGA coach Mark Richt Monday night. He made it clear that he was posting it to shut up Dawgs fans.

It’s nothing new to hear that fans on Twitter are sour about a recruit picking another school. But most of the time, the player doesn’t respond in such a conversation-ending fashion.
