After a 2011-12 season in which he was an SEC All-Defensive team player, and the league’s leader in blocks at South Carolina, it was hard to imagine that the 6-foot-10 center Damontre Harris would go two seasons without playing another game. Now, when Harris steps back on the court, it will likely be with his third college team. After sitting out 2012-13 following his transfer to Florida, and 2013-14 due to a season long team suspension, CBS reports that Harris will not be returning to play for the Gators.

Harris, who averaged 6.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks as a freshman at South Carolina in 2011-12, should have two years of collegiate eligibility remaining.
