Georgia head coach Mark Fox says he wants to make the world a better place for the next generation.
The Georgia basketball program has seen a significant change ever since Mark Fox took over in 2009, but now Fox is trying to do more than just coach—he wants to make his community a better place as well.
Today, the head coach announced on Twitter that, along with his wife, Cindy, the two will donate $1 for “every fan that attends any of [Georgia’s] 3 November home games to local organizations.”
The money will be split between the Clarke County Mentoring program and the Athens Boys and Girls Club.

How cool is that?
It’s one thing to say that the world should be a better place, and it’s another thing entirely to take action. Hopefully this will inspire others to donate to local charitable organizations as well.
