Class of 2019 recruit J.D. Bertrand took to Twitter on Saturday to announce he’s committing to Georgia.
Georgia added another recruit to it’s already impressive 2019 recruiting class.
On Saturday, tight end/outside linebacker J.D. Bertrand—a Georgia native—announced his commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs.
He is the fifth player to commit to Georgia for 2019. All five are blue-chip recruits.

Bertrand had offers from several other top schools, including Iowa State, LSU, Mississippi State, North Carolina and Tennessee.
Bertrand, 6-foot-1, 215 pounds, is the No. 16 ranked linebacker in the class of 2019, per 247Sports. A tw0-way athlete, he also plays tight end.
With the addition of Bertrand, the Bulldogs boast the No. 3 ranked recruiting class in the SEC for 2019, and the No. 3 class nationally. They currently have five commits— one 5-star and four 4-stars, per 247Sports.
