The dismissal comes after police reportedly determined that Taylor was the aggressor in a domestic violence situation at McWhorter Hall on Georgia’s campus, according to the university’s police chief, Jimmy Williamson.
In March, Taylor was one of four Bulldogs arrested for “double-dipping” student stipend checks issued by the school’s athletic association by cashing or depositing the funds twice.
Georgia has had six different arrests this season. Taylor appeared in 10 of Georgia’s 13 games in 2013, compiling nine tackles.
