Georgia fans are going to love the below video, shot by the guys over at 247 Sports, for two reasons. One – UGA just landed a three-star offensive lineman, Sage Hardin, from Atlanta for the class of 2015. Two – it was revealed that head coach Mark Richt’s ringback tone (apparently people still use those) is the very-appropriate “Georgia On My Mind” by Ray Charles. Hardin’s family was cracking up when they first heard it playing.
The clip also provides a very interesting inside look at what it’s like to call the head coach of a big-time FBS program and commit to play for him. You can tell that Hardin is both excited and nervous – which you’d think is pretty normal for such a moment. Very cool.
