There were multiple times this season that college basketball fans wrote off Kentucky, believing that the young Wildcats’ season was dead. If we’re to believe what Coach Cal told reporters Tuesday afternoon, he chose an odd way of proving it otherwise to his players. Cal claims that during a practice earlier this season, he was wheeled into practice in a casket before popping up and screaming “we ain’t dead yet”.
Sophomore Willie Cauley-Stein supposedly confirmed the story, but it’s important to keep in mind that today is April Fools’.
John Calipari says when Cats strugged, had casket wheeled into locker room, with himself in it. Popped up and told players “We ain’t dead.”

Regardless, they certainly aren’t dead. Kentucky has reached the Final Four for the third time in the past four years, and many believe that the Wildcats have a great shot at taking home another national title.
