John Calipari weirdly grabbed ESPN reporter Maria Taylor’s arm during halftime of Kentucky’s game to Kansas.
Kentucky head coach John Calipari is always very excitable during games, and that was very evident during tonight’s halftime interview.
In discussing the rebounding issues his team had in the first half against the Jayhawks, Calipari grabbed Taylor’s arm, and apparently had a pretty tight grip.
He eventually realized what he was doing, and asked if he was grabbing too hard. Taylor answered, saying that she is “not one of your players” to the Kentucky coach.

Taylor didn’t seem too bothered by it, but some people on Twitter were uncomfortable with the interaction.
Calipari has never heard an in-game question that he cares about..
Also.. @MariaTaylor7 telling him “I’m not your player” was the best part of the interview!!

Calipari just gave the creepiest interview I've ever seen

Was that kinda weird with Calipari and Maria Taylor? He grabbed her arm to show how he was mad at his players. She said, "I'm not your player."

Calipari has to be that guy to grab the female reporter just above her elbow to do a halftime interview. Just don't touch, bro.

Why was Calipari hanging onto the reporter’s arm there? That was weird.

It looked pretty inadvertent, but still…it was a pretty weird exchange.
Kansas leads Kentucky 34-33 at the half. The Jayhawks dominated the boards 24-13 in the first half.
