Karl-Anthony Towns was definitely happy to see Louisville get upset by Michigan this afternoon.
Towns, the former Kentucky star, has trolled his college rival before on social media. Today, he took a friendly jab at Minnesota Timberwolves teammate Gorgui Dieng, a U of L alum.
Soon after the second-seeded Cards got knocked off by No. 7 seed Michigan, Towns tweeted this at Dieng.

You know the smack-talk is probably going on right now between these two via text message. Dieng’s alma mater had its season cut short today, but he did win a title during his time at Louisville, while Towns’ lone season in Lexington ended with a Final Four loss to Wisconsin.
Towns’ Wildcats take on Wichita State now, and they could be upset as well.
Did he speak too soon? Guess we’ll find out.
