A few nights ago, we saw Kentucky draft-hopeful James Young at the Barclays Center taking in a Nets-Raptors playoff game with pop star Rihanna. While it is uncertain whether or not Lenn Robbins thinks that Young needs to cheer louder, we do now know that Young has signed with Roc Nation Sports and former Nets part-owner Jay-Z as a client.
Roc Nation made it official this morning, tweeting a photo of Young and Jay, with a cameo from Joe Lewis in cartoon poster form.

Young joins NBA superstar Kevin Durant, as well as other sports stars like Robinson Cano, C.C. Sabathia, Hakeem Nicks, Geno Smith, and Victor Cruz as a Roc Nation client. Unlike many of the other players represented by Jay-Z’s agency, it is extremely unlikely that Young will have the chance to play in New York. The Knicks and Nets are both likely to be absent from the first round.
See where we have Young, and the rest of the future NBA stars, going in our first round NBA Mock Draft.
