Kentucky lost its Final Four contest against Wisconsin Saturday night, and in the aftermath, a number of the team’s players committed some transgressions they’d probably like to take back. Willie Cauley-Stein, among others, left the court without shaking hands with the Badgers. And Andrew Harrison made a disparaging remark during the post-game press conference about Wisconsin’s Frank Kaminsky. Sunday, Wildcats head coach John Calipari sat down with Campus Insiders’ Bonnie Bernstein to address both situations.
Coach Cal explained that he loves his players, but they sometimes do “dumb things” that they later need to apologize for. He also said that Harrison will not be facing any discipline for his actions.
It’s going to an interesting offseason in Lexington, to say the least.
