John Calipari and his young Kentucky squad arrived in North Texas for the Final Four this afternoon. It’s the third time in four seasons that the Wildcats have reached the NCAA Tournament’s semifinals.
Many of Calipari’s players depart from Lexington for the NBA after one season, and therefore, they only get to experience the Final Four’s atmosphere once. This is Calipari’s fifth appearance at the Final Four (though the appearances at Massachusetts and Memphis were later vacated by the NCAA).
Based on the reception Kentucky got today, it surely never gets old.
