Last Sunday, Aaron Harrison hit a game-winning 3-pointer with less than three seconds left against Michigan, pushing Kentucky into the Final Four.
Tonight, against Wisconsin, Harrison hit a similar shot – okay, almost the same shot. With Kentucky down by one point, Harrison received the ball on the left wing. He paused for a second, and then fired a 3-pointer. It went through the net, giving the Wildcats a 74-73 lead with 5.7 seconds left.
The shot came after Kentucky fouled Wisconsin guard Traevon Jackson on a 3-pointer. Jackson hit two of three free throws to give the Badgers a two-point lead. It wasn’t enough.
Jackson took the final shot of the game for Wisconsin. It missed.
